Watts is seeking a Global Workday HCM Lead to join our team. This role will be considered our technical subject matter expert on Workday and will serve as a hands-on practitioner and leader in helping to shape the future of Workday at Watts. You will be expected to take “end-to-end” ownership of our Workday platform – from handling daily support tasks, recommending changes to configuration, adoption and implementation of new functionalities and everything in-between.


  • Manage the Workday tenant and ensure the overall health of our business processes within our global Workday system (4500 users)
  • Provide technical support for functional areas to identify and resolve tenant configuration, business process and/or integration issues. Make recommendations for and implementing process improvement.
  • Provide technical and functional expertise in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of business processes and applications
  • Track outstanding Workday issues; manage, implement, & test changes in the system
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting support to employees and HR users in completing transactions
  • Monitor and maintain security requirements for complex tenant that includes intersection security roles
  • Lead the configuration efforts for new and existing Workday functionality to provide maximum efficiency and effectiveness for employees and HR needs
  • Build and maintain custom reports and dashboards
  • Develop bulk data loads using Workday EIB
  • Support SOX Audit requests & audit HR data to ensure compliance and data integrity
  • Responsible for developing & maintaining end user training


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • 5+ years of technical experience with Workday Recruiting & HCM functional areas including: Core HCM, Talent, Performance, Advanced Compensation
  • Extensive experience with Workday global security protocols & permission structures including intersection security
  • Experience identifying and resolving Workday HCM & Recruiting issues
  • Ability to own the design and configuration of multiple modules in Workday
