About the Role

OVERVIEW 

The Corporate Treasury department has an opening for a Treasury Analyst to support the firm’s global corporate treasury operations. This includes activities related to cash management, corporate investments, bank account management, cash forecasting, management analysis, and reporting. Additionally, the Treasury Analyst will gain exposure to various aspects of Corporate Treasury, including corporate hedging programs (FX, compensation plans, etc.) and the firm’s seed capital program. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to: 

  • Managing daily cash activities, including initiating and authorizing electronic payments and executing investment transactions in banking and investment platforms 

  • Liaising with banks to resolve cash management and bank account issues 

  • Managing global bank account operations, including opening, closing, and maintenance of bank accounts across all banking relationships 

  • Supporting cash forecasting processes 

  • Supporting corporate hedging programs and executing trades associated with these programs 

  • Supporting and administering the firm seed capital program 

  • Assisting with banking platform and treasury workstation (GTreasury) user administration and other bank account administration activities 

  • Preparing cash management reports and other ad hoc analytical reporting 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with a strong GPA preferred 

  • 0-3 years professional experience 

  • Strong technical skills, proficient with Excel. Experience with Tableau, Python, or SQL is a plus. 

  • A strong work ethic with a willingness and desire to learn 

  • Proven organization skills and attention to detail 

  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a challenging fast paced environment 

  • Maturity due to confidential nature of responsibilities 

  • Excellent communication skills, interacting and collaborating with all levels of counterparties both internal and external to the firm 

  • Displays intellectual curiosity and the ability to think strategically 

  • Interest in capital markets is a plus 

  • Experience with Workday, GTreasury, or other Treasury Management System/bank platform is a plus

Our approach to compensation considers all aspects of total compensation; all employees are eligible to receive salary, variable compensation, and benefits. The base salary range for this position is:

USD 65,000 – 150,000

This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.   

 

Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
