Job Responsibilities:

Job Title: HR Generalist
Department: Human Resources
Reports to: HR Director


The human resource generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

  • In this position you will be providing close support to our Workforce Solutions team. This role requires a solid foundation in employee relations expertise, including a good working knowledge of leaves and ADA accommodations and potential associated performance related concerns. Ideally you would have experience working with non-exempt based employees, such as in a call center or similar. Although you will be providing specific support to the Workforce Solutions team, you will also support the larger employee group in the organization and carry out HR Generalist tasks, including but not limited to the below.


The major areas of focus for this role are as follows:

Administering all HR functions and activities, including, but not limited to:

  • Working with Recruiting to create and execute a seamless on-boarding process.
  • Coaching managers in employee relation matters.
  • Answering HR related questions for customer base.
  • Acting as a level 2 Workday administrator, which includes inputting data at a high level, problem solving issues and running HR metric reports as needed.
  • Managing and resolving employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Assisting in terminations.
  • Assisting HR related due diligence for US Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Maintaining records and process in Workday.
  • Assisting and providing guidance on company policies.
  • Maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.



  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 2 to 4 years’ direct experience in employee relations and at least one other
  •  HR Functional area; benefits, leaves, compensation, immigration or
  • Workday experience desired.
  • HR Functional Expert in two areas one being Employee Relations (benefits, leaves, immigration, etc.)
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
