Western Nevada College is recruiting for a Personnel Technician 2. This position is responsible for processing the business process for all letter of appointment, classified, faculty, and temp hourly positions within Workday and all processes handled outside of Workday in terms of employment, onboarding through termination. Maintain records and provide information to supervisors as needed. Additional duties would consist of; tracking performance evaluations and processing annual merits, auditing leave accounting for all staff, reception duties, answering personnel and payroll questions and providing support to other office staff with special projects.
This position requires graduation from high school or equivalent education and one year of technical personnel/payroll experience; OR one year of experience as a Personnel Technician I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working in a Human Resources office
Experience with Workday – HR and Financial system
Schedule and Travel Requirements
The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; this is subject to change based on organizational needs.
