Job Summary
WEX is looking for a Talent Manager to join our team and drive Talent Management efforts across the enterprise. Talent Managers at WEX serve as a first choice strategic partner to both HR Business Partners and People Leaders to deliver curated talent solutions for their client group(s) and support our Talent Strategy. In addition to serving as a strategic partner, Talent Managers are broadly responsible for our Core Talent Processes, including: performance management, succession planning, talent review, critical talent development, talent assessment, organizational design, and WEX talent programs for identified critical talent.
This role is flexible to be based in Portland, Maine, or remote within the United States.
Key Responsibilities

Facilitate seamless partnership and collaboration with HR Business Partners on the delivery of Talent Management outcomes

Leverage a consultative approach to serve as a subject matter expert across talent initiatives

Ensure HRBPs and People Leaders are equipped to leverage Talent Management offerings in service of our Talent Strategy
-
Provide a broad range of analytical, research, and presentation preparation support of Talent Management function
-
Partner with other members of the Talent Management team to create a process to support succession planning, including turn-key ready materials for HR Business Partners to leverage during succession planning conversations

Organize and attend succession planning meetings in partnership with the HR Business Partners
-
Serve as a strategic partner to HR Business Partners in support of effective development plans and strategic talent allocation plans for high potential team members and identified successors

Maintain list(s) and track development of critical talent and high potential employees year-over-year

Consult to deliver the full performance management process, from goal setting to year-end performance evaluation

Continuously evaluate talent processes, identify and recommend opportunities for efficiencies, execute recommendations for improvement

Collaborate to ensure talent solutions work to achieve global DEI goals
Additional Responsibilities May Include:

Serve as the designated program manager responsible for end to end delivery for a Core Talent Process

Collaborate with the Talent Development team to create necessary training materials
-
Collaborate with Corporate Communications team for communication collateral to support implementation of the Talent Processes

Partner with the Talent Development team to support effective goal setting, feedback, coaching and performance evaluation across the enterprise

Lead critical experience mapping and facilitate the mapping of internal talent pipelines
-
Collaborate with the People Analytics team to leverage data and analytics to analyze key talent questions related to mobility, selection, compensation, development, and turnover
Who We Are Looking For

3-5+ years of related and relevant job experience

Advanced degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology or a related field is preferred

Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment

Strong executive presence and demonstrated influence skills

Strong communication and project and/or program management skills

Ability to apply change management principles to all projects and initiatives

Prior experience with Workday is preferred
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX’s total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Salary Pay Range: $71,500.00 – $95,500.00
