 The Payroll Analyst for America's primary responsibility is to process payrolls across the USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with local laws and regulations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process and analyze payrolls across USA, Canada and Puerto Rico
  • Administer the Year End tax filings and disbursement of employee forms for all applicable countries
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders and manage expectations by ensuring service levels are met and act as the point of contact for any escalated payroll queries.
  • Administer the year-end tax filings and disburse employee forms for all applicable countries.
  • Administer expatriate-related payroll activities and coordinate with external tax vendors as needed.
  • Maintain the AMERICAS shared Payroll Inbox, working to a maximum 24-hour response time; support employees with any pay-related queries. 
  • Support all relevant finance/accounting teams with reconciliations or general payroll queries by maintaining accurate general ledger journal entries (salaries, pension, taxes, and social security) in Oracle financials at the company and employee levels.
  • File and label all confidential correspondence via the Box platform, including data security legal requirements and company policies, whilst maintaining WFS Documentation retention policies.
  • Ability to articulate complicated information to non-payroll experts.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or an equivalent level qualification
  • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) is preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in Payroll is essential
  • Knowledge of ADP WorkForce Now, ADP Streamline, and WORKDAY systems is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish desirable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Outlook, and willingness to experiment and work with new technologies
