💻 About the role: 

In this role, you will be an integral part of the Global Financial Systems & Reporting team by owning the administration and support functions of the Workday Adaptive Planning & Workday Financials systems. This team member will also contribute to areas of new system development including requirements gathering, system development, testing, implementation, and business partner support. Successful candidates for this role will need strong finance & technical skills, interpersonal skills, and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong Excel, PowerPoint, oral and written communication, and presentation skills are required.


  • Responsible for development and maintenance in Workday Adaptive Planning & Financials system, including:
    • Performing administrator functions such as maintaining the models, dimensions, and management of user access.
    • Develop, document, and implement policies, procedures, guidelines, and best practices to ensure data integrity and standardized end-user processes.
    • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and input templates.
    • Ensure and maintain forecast data accuracy and integrity at all times.
    • Performing quality assurance testing to verify system functionality, Identifying and fixing bugs and other inconsistencies.
    • Monitor deployment of additional cloud-based functionality/upgrades release by Workday/Adaptive, complete and coordinate testing and communication to key stakeholders.
    • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective & efficient application configuration.
    • Identifies, recommends, and implements changes to enhance system performance and effectiveness.
    • Assist in the development of new applications, functionality, and backlog requests in Adaptive Planning & Financials to support finance planning & reporting needs.
  • Work with large sets of data effectively utilizing tools such as Excel, Power Query, SQL, etc.
  • Liaise with IT and Accounting departments regarding system and process integration.
  • Manage the training of new system users.
  • Manage team documentation

📚Education & Experience: 

  • 2-3 years of experience in Finance or Accounting
  • BA/BS in Finance/Accounting preferred or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in Adaptive Planning or similar financial planning systems, preferred
  • Experience with P&L analysis, spreadsheet modeling
  • Excellent data analysis skills, Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization.
  • Team player that embraces change and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • An analytical, creative thinker who can focus on the details without losing sight of the big picture
