You’ll craft both routine and ad hoc reports in Workday HCM that empower Whole Foods Market Team Members and our Amazon partners while also being at the forefront of driving direct access.

As a true partner to our end users, you’ll implement their feedback, troubleshoot any concerns, and continuously refine our reporting processes. And let’s not forget about optimization – you’ll be instrumental in fine-tuning and auditing existing reports and dashboards to keep pace with our evolving business needs and maintain the highest standards of excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, and build new custom reports as required using standard Workday reporting functionality (Report Writer, Calculated Fields, BIRT, and PRISM)
  • Maintain the tier 1 reporting queue with timely engagement and follow up as required.
  • Understand business requirements, data sources, and report specifications to create accurate and actionable reports.
  • Modify report layouts, data sources, or calculations to improve usability and relevance.
  • Perform complex auditing duties to ensure data integrity within reports and calculated fields.
  • Document report requirements, specifications, and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Skill and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Management, or other related field and 4-6 years of experience with Workday report writing – simple, advanced, matrix, composite, and calculated fields; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Existing and up to date Workday Pro Reporting certification required.
  • PRISM experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Workday implementation, post-production support, and impact assessing biannual releases.  
  • A strong understanding of Workday functionality – modules, data sources, integrations, and EIBs.
  • Ability to validate data results to ensure accuracy in reports.
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution.
