About the Role

Here at Workday, our Account Executives are key players in our Field Sales Organisation. With a net new revenue responsibility, they are the fuel for Workday’s new customer growth.

We are growing fast and building a network of talented sales professionals, ready for when we open up vacancies in the near future. In this role, you be directly responsible for building pipeline & delivering revenue in our Major Accounts new business team, concentrating on winning the largest & highest profile brands across the UK & Ireland.

This fantastic team of hardworking professionals play a key role in guiding prospects on a journey that can see them leave the limitations of legacy platforms behind and move forward with a new class of enterprise management cloud, fueled by AI & ML.

As a team, we believe that partnering with our customers to craft relevant solutions that deliver long lasting value is super important. We want to make sure that our customers are positively satisfied from day one and forever ongoing. In this role, you will:

  • Develop strategy for prioritising, targeting, and closing key opportunities in assigned territory

  • Performs account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment

  • Drive complex sales cycles through leading and orchestrating a diverse internal team of pre-sales, value management, bid management, inside sales, marketing and sales support

  • Be responsible for developing relationships with net new customers with a focus on deal management and connecting customers with Workday solutions

  • Articulate the value of a 'platform' approach & how we differentiate in a crowded market

  • Negotiate deals with a variety of C-Suite Executives to close opportunities

  • Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data

About You

Your drive, tenacity, enthusiasm, productivity, leadership, gravitas and energy, along with your ability to disrupt whilst remaining humble, will be key to being successful in this role. If you want to be part of something exciting, please read on!

• Consistent track record in over-achieving sales targets, concentrated on selling complex SaaS/Cloud based solutions to C-levels from a field sales position.
• Experience collaborating with internal teams (pre-sales, value, inside sales) to achieve quota and run multiple deals at once
• Experience with managing longer deal cycles, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities
• Able to quickly establish trust with key stakeholders
• Prior experience with partnering with internal team members on account strategies for short and long term prospecting and territory management
• Be consultative & act with a challenger mentality

Our Approach to Flexible Work
