About the Team

Our Corporate Sales Development (CSD) team is made up of sales professionals developing the pipeline and supporting the field sales organization for the Workday suite of products.
Our engagement model is highly qualitative, with interactions at the VP and C-Level, proposing an innovative and global solution.
As the new Associate Manager for our team, you will report into the EMEA South Senior Manager of Corporate Sales Development in the global Sales Operations organization.

About the Role

Day-to-day, you will be responsible for motivating and developing your team by applying best practice (e.g. messaging and objection-handling) and recruiting the best new team members.

As one of the main points of contact for your territory, you will build strong relationships with senior sales leaders in country, aligning your activities with the region’s needs, joining pipeline generation conversations and bringing fresh and innovative insights to the go-to-market strategy.

You will develop and implement relevant demand generation campaigns for the team territory development plans and align CSD daily activities to meet quarterly goals. You will also be responsible for generating and delivering quarterly territory forecasts as well as accurately predicting quarterly generated pipeline. This is a highly collaborative role, bringing you close to Sales and Senior SDR Manager/Director to identify areas of improvement for the CSD Teams.

Scope and Growth

You will lead a team of CSDs based in our Dublin office, covering a key region in EMEA (France). In time, there are opportunities for growth either into a broader role within the sales organization or in other areas of the growing business in Europe.

We're looking for an energetic and self-motivated experienced leader, organized and thorough to join our CSD leadership!

Basic Qualifications

  • Language skills: Proficiency in French and English (third European language not required but advantageous)

  • 2-5 years experience in a People Manager role with leadership responsibilities (preference would be in a sales / sales development background)

  • Recent experience and proven ability to lead a team to hit KPIs

  • Experience building and maintaining remote relationship with collaborators across different teams and countries

  • Proven track record of coaching, mentoring and managing performance – this is for someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done

Other Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Entrepreneurial, creative and highly analytical

  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com

  • Knowledge of / Experience with Fortune 500 / Enterprise segment

  • Willingness to travel when necessary
