Workday is recognised globally as a leading employer and we’re expanding in Australia. Here at Workday, our Business Development sales team members are called Corporate Sales Development consultants. The CSD Team is our business development team for named accounts and is made up of sales professionals developing pipeline and supporting the field sales organisation to identify opportunities for our customers to unlock value within their HR and Finance organisations.

About the Role

  • Deliver qualified opportunities for progression into Stage 1 pipeline

  • Work closely with Account Executives on account engagement plans to ensure we maximise account coverage

  • Collaborate tightly with regional Marketing teams on campaigns and provide close loop feedback

  • Generate High Value Activity daily to engage with new prospects and follow up on leads

  • Conduct relevant research to understand industry and business drivers as part of outbound plan

  • Qualify accounts and leads to understand pain points, compelling events, timeline and discover decision makers

  • Communicate at a professional level to engage effectively with C-Suite executives

  • Articulate clearly the value of Workday’s solutions

  • Leverage available tools (Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator etc) to perform prospecting activities

  • Maintain high Salesforce hygiene and ensure all activities and notes are updated timely
