About the Team

Our team is all about our customers! We build and deliver services to help them find greater value in their Workday investment. We ensure the successful implementation of Workday’s product solutions on some of our largest projects for Fortune 500 clients. We help frame the solution delivery, partnering with our consultants to execute and own the delivery plan, and ultimately help our clients achieve rapid time to value.

About the Role

The Sr. Engagement Manager/Sr. Manager will be an expert with the Workday Deployment Methodology. They will lead/manage mid to large deployments and resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. They will also support executive level expectations by providing internal suggestions to management, based on field experience, as to how to potentially enhance the Workday Deployment Methodology.

In Office Expectations: This role can be based out of Chicago, IL, Pleasanton, CA, San Francisco, CA, Denver, CO, Minneapolis, MN or Salt Lake City, UT. We adhere to a flex model (50% in-office, 50% remote)

  • Become an expert in Workday's Launch Methodology.

  • Lead the implementation of 2-5 simultaneous projects.

  • Show strength in the Workday product suite – HCM, Payroll, and/or Financials.

  • Provide guidance and mentoring to those Professional Service resources working on their implementations.

  • Ensure projects are accurately planned and staffed.

  • Work with the customer project manager to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframes.

  • Present at Executive Steering Committee meetings.

  • Be a liaison for professional services when interacting with sales and/or development.

  • Find opportunities to position other service offerings.

  • Ensure the client can serve as a reference upon completing their implementation.

  • Assist in the transition of the customer from professional services to Customer Success Team.

  • Ensure the project is delivered within the budget, timeline and scope outlined in the SOW.

  • Present client with change orders in the event customer requests asking Workday to perform tasks that are outside the scope of the SOW.

About You

(P4) Basic Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years’ experience project managing HCM, payroll, financial, student, or government implementations within medium or large Enterprise clients.

  • 2-3+ years' of experience implementing Workday, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft or similar applications.

(P3) Basic Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years’ experience project managing HCM, payroll, financial, student, or government implementations within medium or large Enterprise clients.

  • 1-2+ years' of experience implementing Workday, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft or similar applications.

Other Qualifications:

  • Excellent organization, time management, and presentation skills

  • Experience leading 3rd parties on a project

  • Experience presenting at Executive Steering Committee meetings

  • Ability to work effectively with sales partners when requested to capture requirements, formulate delivery approach and develop a proposal/SOW.

  • Ability to deliver projects within the budget outlined in the SOW

  • Experience working with the client project manager to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframes

  • Strong background in Workday deployment methodology and processes

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

 

Workday Pay Transparency Statement – United States 

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $118,900 – $178,400

 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $107,600 – $189,500
