About the Team

Here at Workday, our Account Executives are key players in our Field Sales Operations organisation. With a net new revenue focus, they are the fuel for Workday’s new customer growth. This fantastic team of hardworking professionals play a key role in guiding new customers on a journey that can see them leave the limitations of legacy platforms behind and move forward with a new class of enterprise management cloud. As a team, we believe that in partnering with our customers to craft relevant solutions that deliver long lasting value is super important. We want to make sure that our customers are positively satisfied from day one and forever ongoing.

The COVID-19 pandemic is challenging every aspect of operations in higher education and the public sector. And, it’s also serving as a catalyst for new business models and positive change.

It’s no surprise that organisations with flexible, cloud-based enterprise applications are better able to adapt to the shifting conditions and respond to the needs of their workforce, citizens or constituencies. You will engage leaders and start the conversation on how these organisations can transition toward adopting cloud-based finance, human resources, planning, and student technology without expending unnecessary time and resources.

About the Role

Your role as an Account Executive with Workday is to help your customers to make change an opportunity. Enterprise scale transformation for HR and Finance to the cloud with Workday’s market leading product offering is a very compelling proposition right now. Coupled with a well resourced cross functional customer facing team, you have everything you need to create positive outcomes for your customers and build strong revenue growth.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • As a minimum we are looking for cloud transformation sales experience. 

  • Currently, you sell net-new solutions to enterprise or large commercial sized organisations

Other Qualifications

  • Your outstanding track record of success! We’re going to want to know your quota attainment numbers as past success is a strong indicator of future success

  • You live by a set of values that align with our own (make sure you look them up). We’re a value based organisation, and we truly believe that exceptionally successful sales professionals can also be phenomenal humans.

  • ERP/ HCM/ Finance/ Planning experience is ideal.

  • An understanding of the fundamental differences and benefits of an on-demand/Cloud/SaaS architecture as an alternative to legacy ERP solutions.

  • Experience leading a team through sophisticated, strategic, sales cycles by orchestrating internal teams of pre-sales, value management, bid management, inside sales, marketing and sales support.
