About the Team

Our Product Management team is growing, and we are seeking a Manager with experience in revenue management accounting, revenue recognition, and the contract-to-cash process to lead our Revenue Inbound PM team.

About the Role

Have you been involved in customer contract maintenance, price list generation, customer billing or revenue accounting as part of a corporate finance team? Are you an accountant, revenue manager or financials consultant and consider yourself a contract-to-cash expert? Have you led PM and/or Engineering teams to build revenue management solutions for your customers?

We are looking for an experienced product leader to strategize, define and implement the vision for Workday’s Revenue Management solutions.  This is a “hands on” people-manager position where you will lead inbound PMs to complete a compelling product vision, often also working with scrum teams to complete development.

You will gather business requirements and produce functional design specifications, to lead the business application design process with other Product Managers and Software Engineers. As the product authority, the end-to-end experience owner and the “face” of the product area your team will be the product champions and expert points of contact for implementation consultants, support desk, documentation, sales support and marketing.

Our Product Managers partner with Alliances, Product Strategy, Services, Implementers and Product Leads across the business to advise the near-term and long-term product investments, as well as review, comment and follow-up on bug and improvement requests from our customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4-8+ years of confirmed experience as a Product Manager focused on Contracts, Revenue Accounting Management or Implementation

Other Qualifications:

  • Functional knowledge of one or more of the following areas:  Order-to-cash process, consumption/usage billing, automated recurring billing models, contract management, and ASC 606 compliant revenue recognition

  • Proven design skills for packaged financial applications for large global enterprises

  • Experience leading a team of technical experts and working in a highly collaborative environment

  • BS / BA, MS / MA degree or equivalent work experience

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $145,700 – $218,600

 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $138,400 – $270,400
