About the Team

Workday Financials is hiring a Product Manager interested in applying “modern product” approaches and techniques to the operations underpinning and providing leverage to our product team. We strive to enable our team to deliver valuable, winning offerings with as little friction as possible. We move thoughtfully, but swiftly, and are always evolving how we work.

About the Role

Please note:

This is a PART TIME (32 hours/week) flex role based in Boulder, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for seasoned Product Managers returning to the workforce!

In this role, you will support key product operations needs, as well as cadences across Product Management, Development, QA, and UX, and partner with the Sr Manager of Product Operations, Chief of Staff, and VPs of Product to ensure day-to-day process efficiency and accuracy across the software release lifecycle. You will facilitate communications and help teams stay on track for commitments.

 

We are looking for a versatile Product Manager who enjoys product operational details to ensure efficient execution. We also see this person managing ad hoc requests, such as research for the senior leadership team, and assisting on strategic projects. 

This is a role for someone who can easily adapt to work seamlessly with groups in various parts of the wider Workday organization by building constructive relationships. Teammates and collaborators view you as a partner, and you enjoy unblocking others and communicating across all groups in an open and proactive manner. Others perceive you as someone who helps reduce the toil that surrounds their work and as a trusted advisor of how to navigate oftentimes confusing and cumbersome cross-organizational processes.

  • Support the coordination, content creation, and execution of critical program cadences and meetings including Continuous Planning Meetings, Program level retrospectives, Release Planning, etc. 

  • Organize and maintain key information regarding product roadmaps, investment statuses, and cross-pillar (P2P and T2P) processes, as well as support and facilitate adoption of new methods, tools, and depictions of work effort tracking. You will have a keen focus on scaling high-visibility, low-toil ways of handling work across the Financials organization.

  • Support the building of resources and tools to help Financials leadership and the broader organization efficiently run day-to-day operations.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of combined product management and/or product operations experience

  • Experience with reporting, productivity, and work management tools, such as Tableau, Jira, Confluence, G-Suite

  • Seeking Part Time (32 hrs/week) roles

Other Qualifications

  • Project management or business operations experience highly preferred

  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills;

  • Ability to multi-task across multiple priorities and initiatives with both an appreciation for and an attention to detail

  • Strong networking and relationship building skills

  • Excellent organization and time management skills

  • Strong presentation abilities

  • Minimal travel required

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $144,000 USD – $216,000 USD

 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $136,800 USD – $246,000 USD
