About the Team

Partner Sales Account Executives are key players in our Field Sales Operations organisation for accelerating Workday’s Partner Reseller network. They are knowledgeable about our product value and portfolio, and use their extensive sales experience and consultative selling skills to grow their business relationships, and manage the day-to-day interactions with partners.

About the Role

Your role as a Partner Sales Account Executive with Workday, you will provide sales support and engagement to our reseller partners as a Workday representative. Ultimately, building strong revenue growth for yourself, your partners and Workday.

  • You currently drive joint business with partner selling net-new solutions to enterprise or large commercial sized organisations 

  • You’ll need a successful direct & partner sales background in SaaS/Cloud solutions. If you have ERP / HCM / Financial planning experience, that’s even better

  • Drives regular quarterly revenue delivery via implementation of partner business plans.

  • Collaborates with Marketing, Sales Operations, and Enablement for partner relationship events, seminars, and enablement activities.

  • Provides partner feedback to internal stakeholders for product, systems, and process improvements.

  • Monitors competitor activity in partners and implements strategies to maintain key partner relationships and block competitor advancement.

About You

  • 10+ years prior experience in business application sales, preferably in an ERP/SaaS environment

  • Ability to understand and effectively explain the benefits of an on-demand/web services architecture

  • CxO relationship management

  • Experience in a team selling environment

  • Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment

  • Native Japanese capability and business English

  • Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
