About the Team

The North American Field Services team is responsible for partnering with our subscription sales group, professional services and our partners to help sell the Workday solution and associated consulting/support services. In addition the team is responsible for ensuring our customers are getting maximum value from our solution and work in conjunction with other groups within CX to drive referencability.

About the Role

The Principal, Services Operations is responsible for building, leading, and executing on all strategy and operational functions for the North America Field Services team.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Establish a predictable rhythm of business that drives sales behaviors to overachieve budgets over multiple quarters.

  • Coach teams leading to healthy pipeline coverage and forecast behaviors to ensure accuracy and accountability to improve close rates and demand generation levels.

  • Partner with Global Field Enablement and other teams to ensure effective landing of any new programs and steer organizational change efforts impacting the Service Executive community.

  • Prepare data driven analysis to support senior management decision making, driving clarity and insight into the health of the business and actions required to improve

  • Partner closely with our Finance team to identify data and reporting gaps and drive effective solutions.  Collaboration on fiscal year planning and territory quota achievement.

  • Responsible for leading several strategic initiatives that will help drive operational efficiencies and help effectively scale the practice. 

  • Alignment of initiatives with the global Strategy and Enablement team as well as partnering with stakeholders in other segments such as Sales, Global Partners, and Marketing on other strategic initiatives and programs.

    About You

    Basic Qualifications

    • 7+ years of Sales Operations experience, preferably in a SaaS environment

    • Strong sales pipeline and forecasting leadership skills

    • In depth understanding of the Professional services industry and Customer success 

    • In depth understanding of key financial metrics associated with the above-mentioned areas.

    • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization 

    • Proficiency with Salesforce.com/Clari

    Other Qualifications

    • Demonstrated ability to set strategy, grow and develop businesses in similar context 

    • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to effectively collaborate across matrixed teams globally

    • Strong communication skills

    • Ability to work in diverse, fast paced environment and juggle multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously. Experience in Project Management desired.

    • Demonstrated ability to direct and inspire teams well as the ability to analyze complex problems

    • Ability to build and sustain excellent relationships and multiple levels

    This role will take direction from the SVP for our North American Field Services and the Sr. Director, Services located in APJ.
