About the Team

The sales leadership and talent development team are part of our sales performance team focused on maximizing the impact of our sales behaviors through a meaningful experience.

This team focus on the practices that sales leaders work with their people on and the development of those leaders themselves.

About the Role

The Principal will be a seasoned leader with demonstrable character, commitment and capability.  She/he will be highly motivated and have the ability and desire to have an impact on the future of the business.  The successful candidate will be a multi-dimensional thinker who operates not only on the basis of important past experiences, but in light of new approaches and developments that occur in the market.

What they will be doing:

  • Engaging stakeholders to ensure the leadership objectives of the region are met

  • Overseeing the leadership development of all lines of leadership as well as the practice development of front line leaders and the accountability they drive in the region.

  • Establishing metrics to measure results

  • Demonstrating the value placed on continued development and education through the enforcement of the Workday Sales Methodology

  • Function as a change agent, demonstrating his/her ability to uphold the standards consistent with a strong pipeline management system that focuses on accuracy

  • Function in a strategic capacity, aligning and influencing go to market strategies, while enforcing tactical team performance issues

  • Building a results-driven culture of accountability and transparency

  • Serving as a visionary; articulating a compelling, long-term vision for the future, inspiring others to action

  • Demonstrating strategic thought leadership, engaging in reengineering to redeploy invested capital to higher value opportunities

  • Exemplifying logic in making decisions based on relevant facts and data, not assumptions and hope

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years in leadership development within an enterprise software sales environment. 

  • Prior sales experience managing a team

  • Experience developing sales development curriculum and materials for technically complex products

  • Experience leading front of the room trainings and delivering curriculum

  • Extraordinary interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to influence and motivate

  • Passion for helping salespeople learn, grow, and succeed

  • A growth mindset, and a sense of humor

  • Strong written, verbal, presentation and organizational skills required 

  • Willing to travel globally as needed
