The Strategy & Operations team is a Global organization within our Customer Experience (CX) team. We are advisers to CX Leadership Teams globally looking end to end across the business to understand the vision, business performance and any gaps in execution. We put the right plans in place at the right time to accelerate our business results.

About the Role

The Strategy & Operations team is a Global organization within our Customer Experience (CX) team. We are advisors to CX Leadership Teams globally looking end to end across the business to understand the vision, business performance and any gaps in execution. We put the right plans in place at the right time to accelerate our business results.

About You

In this role, you will be part of a growing and dynamic team and responsible for the design, implementation and measurement of the compensation programs inside CX. Partnering with the CX Leadership team you will identify best practices in compensation design and help leaders make decisions on the right plan structures for their teams. You should be comfortable with Consulting, Sales, Customer Success compensation and have perspectives on how these plans should evolve over time.

We’re looking for someone with strong business partnering skills, who is a self-starter, an extraordinary communicator and who enjoys collaborating with people with a diverse set of talents, in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Partner closely with CX leaders to support the design and implementation of globally consistent CX compensation plans, policies, and processes in alignment with the businesses objectives
  • Work with a cross functional team across Corporate Incentive Compensation, Finance, Payroll, Operations to turn the plans you design into action.
  • Improving our internal processes that align with Workday’s compensation philosophy and strategy and ability to weigh up the pros and cons of different compensation options.
  • Develops written process documents needed to effectively run all compensation-related processes and ensure fair practices as business needs and circumstances evolve.
  • Coordinate and prepare comprehensive executive-level insights and analysis in advance of key meetings
  • Contribute to the development or improvement of systems to optimally track or capture data.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience with key compensation tooling (Salesforce.com, Xactly)
  • 8+ years experience in Sales/Services compensation design for a global company, a plus if in a SaaS company
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred

Other Qualifications

  • Ability to build and sustain productive relationships at multiple levels with an ability influence across areas that are not under direct control.
  • Ability to deliver results with minimal guidance and able to progress in the face of ambiguity effectively coping with changes.
  • Strong communication and customer satisfaction skills, ability to drive initiatives at speed with clear timelines and outcomes.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $144,600 USD – $216,900 USD

 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $117,400 USD – $216,900 USD
