About the Team

Workday’s Revenue Operations organization is tackling the exciting challenging of steering Workday toward our goal of growing from $4B to $10B in revenue. The RevOps Business Intelligence group is a key player in fueling this growth. We define, design, build, and maintain self-service dashboards, reports, and alerts to support data-driven decision-making by thousands of users. About the Role

As a Business Intelligence Technical Program Manager, you play a pivotal part in providing data sets, data services, and data infrastructure that help our business partners make sound, data-driven decisions.  You will lead highly complex cross functional programs to manage corporate data, enable data discovery and support operational reporting and analytics.  In this role, you’ll influence, plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules and communicate clearly with stakeholders and leadership.  This role requires a blend of understanding business goals and user needs, plus solid experience managing technology programs.

  • Drive technology programs, defining milestones and success criteria, resource allocation and successful on-time delivery
  • Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to stakeholders at all levels
  • Perform risk management to minimize risks, track deliverables, evaluate timelines, and create mitigation plans with internal teams and vendors
  • Develop transition plans, including but not limited to user acceptance testing and cutover documentation and change
  • Deeply understand the data architecture and integration points of Workday’s business processes and analytics
  • Act as a consultative and strategic partner to cross-functional teams from business, IT, process and product teams to build/improve the technology experience on our existing suite of products
  • Seek and build partnerships across business and technology teams

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in program management or consulting, leading large scale data analytics and/or technology transformations from concept through implementation

Other Qualifications

  • Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving experience, conducting analyses, identifying insights and communicating recommendations to inform business decisions
  • Demonstrated track record of leading multiple teams and influencing stakeholders without authority, demonstrating creativity, detail-orientation, and delivering results with execution rigor
  • An extraordinary communicator with ability to cultivate positive relationships
  • Capacity to thrive when faced with ambiguous problems and capable of leading complex projects with autonomy
  • Experience with Agile methodology preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, facilitation, and listening skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in computer science, information systems, or other related fields
