About the Role

As a Senior Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Workday’s product solutions. You will provide your implementation expertise to our clients while understanding how to best configure and test Workday solutions to meet their business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in the Workday HCM product suite (this may include HCM Core, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent and Performance, Learning, Absence, Time Tracking)

  • Perform the following on an engagement: understand client business requirements, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist the client in testing the Workday solution

  • Work with the client to help convert legacy data into Workday

  • Assist the integration consulting team in helping to configure and test integrations between Workday and third party/custom solutions

  • Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements

  • Help mentor new consultants

  • Help client to use Workday in best way for each individual client

  • Ensure the client is referenceable once the client is in production

  • Share product knowledge with other consultants

  • Provide the Engagement Manager with status reports and keep them apprised of overall project status

  • May participate in sales and proposal activities in addition to completing ongoing team account responsibilities

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of functional experience in HCM, Payroll, Talent, Performance Management, Time&Absence software solutions or systems

  • 5+ years Consulting experience

  • Language Skills: business fluent English

Other Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience implementing Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Ultimate Software, ADP or similar applications

  • Business analysis and requirements gathering skills

  • A detailed-driven problem solver, with a passion for delivering exceptional levels of customer service

  • A strong presenter with excellent verbal and written Communication skills

  • Ability and desire to learn technology quickly through a mix of different mediums

  • Resourceful and adaptable; you’ll be comfortable working remotely, utilizing a variety of tools with a high degree of autonomy
