About the Team
The Presales team at Workday is a highly valued function and is a key ingredient of the customer wins and successes we have had in the market.
The team is comprised of Solution Consultants with deep expertise in one or more of the following areas of enterprise software: HCM, Financials, Planning, Analytics, Sourcing and Procurement.
In additional to functional experts, the team is augmented by technology architects who have deep expertise on the design principles, technical architecture, platform architecture, cloud connectivity and security.
As we continue to strengthen our position in this market, there is an increased our Finance solution. Increasingly, organizations that want to transform the way they operate are replacing legacy systems with Workday’s SaaS Enterprise Management applications.

About the Role
Financial Solution Consultants leverage their in-depth product knowledge of Workday’s Financial Management enterprise software and industry knowledge to provide deep functional expertise and a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
Partner with Account Executives to engage in discovery around an organization's current environment and deliver relevant, impactful presentations and product demonstrations that illustrate how Workday’s Enterprise applications can address requirements, solve business concerns, and create value.
Collaborating with Sales Team to develop winning and differentiating value propositions and themes/messaging to customers from C-suite to project teams
Leading RFP/RFI responses and develop solution overviews that map customer’s business initiatives to the Workday solution; Researching and highlighting the advantages of the our product and capability over legacy ERP and other SaaS systems
Engaging in opportunity support activities to prospective customers; including discovery workshops with users to formulate and detail business requirements; business processes, procedures and work practices
Championing Workday-based solutions to address customer problems; Conducting solutions presentation together with implementation partners to customers and their internal teams. This may involve various formats/viewpoints, such as process flows, context diagrams, functional/technical descriptions and recordings and functional demonstrations
Preparing and conducting product demonstrations to build impact in customer evaluation processes; demonstrating to the value proposition and customer expectations
Building expertise in specific industries and presenting the value of Workday solutions to customers in those industries
You are passionate about working in a high-growth organization and believe that Workday has the solutions to help organisation advance and grow!
You love technology and enjoy learning new skill; Putting on an innovative hat in everything you do and never stop injecting creativity to your presentations to make them engaging and exciting!
Confident in engaging a C-suite customer (especially to the office of the CFO), and develop a trusted-advisor relationship with them.
Have led solutioning efforts with internal team or partners, to craft and position comprehensive legacy-ERP replacement solutions to medium to large enterprises. Experience in architecting landscapes with multiple systems connecting to the finance core
Come from a background of Presales or Services Consulting for Finance management solutions or working in the Finance and Accounting functions of corporations
Solid understanding of Finance Administration and Accounting (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Multi-Company and Consolidations, Multi-Currency)
Exposure to Financial Management solutions from Workday, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft or similar would be a plus point
Additional Finance-related functions such as Procurement, Project Costing will be added advantage
