Workday’s Content Generation Platform teams empowers our customers with a set of immersive experience products intent on making Workday data more approachable and usable. Drawing on familiar paradigms from the consumer world, this team strives to help our users leverage Workday data at scale in a more familiar and friendly environment.

About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be embedded in one of the more heavily-used areas of Workday, helping our customers better operate at scale.

This role will focus on Workday’s Content Platform. You will work closely with customer  and app team feedback to decide what to build and why. You'll balance customer needs and market opportunities against engineering effort and timelines. You'll spend a lot of time with customers, validating our solutions, doing discovery work, and ensuring we are prioritizing the right customer problems to solve user needs and ensure success with this product launch to market.

You'll be a part of a closely knit team of designers, developers, researchers, technical writers and other product managers working together on the Content Platform at Workday. You'll inspire an outstanding development team to provide the fastest value to our customers continually and iteratively, all while fitting that into an evolving long-term product strategy. Outside of the immediate Content Platform, this is a highly cross-functional and collaborative role, working alongside several other central Workday teams at the heart of our business to improve the lives of our customers together in one combined effort.

About You

Basic Qualifications – Senior Product Manager

  • Worked closely with developers and designers to deliver software to customers

  • Experience engaging directly with customers

  • Shipped 2 features to market, from ideation to delivery

  • 4+ years of product management experience

Other Qualifications:

  • Experience working with other internal teams in cross-collaborative efforts – comfortable managing competing dependencies and priorities

  • Ability to gather customer feedback and identify underlying problems without just building what you are asked for.

  • Proven ability to drive toward success collaboratively as a team and not for individual gain.

  • Ready for enterprise-scale – ready for large scale problems, dependencies on other teams

Workday Pay Transparency Statement – United States 

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $138,000 – $207,000

 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $131,100 – $236,400
