About the Team

Our Peakon product team has built a market-leading employee engagement platform that activates every employee to take ownership for driving change —creating better and more inclusive workplaces around the world.

Peakon converts employee feedback into actionable insights. Peakon improves employee engagement through continuous surveys, personalized training, and suggested actions. This happens by collecting employee feedback in real-time, analysing it, and delivering insights to make improvements at the workplace.

About the Role

Our Product Management team at Workday is growing, and we are seeking a Senior Product Manager with a technical profile.
In this role you will be driving the Customer Foundation team. Their mission is to lead successful HR system integrations, public API build, integrations with other services (e.g. Slack and MS teams), building shared functionality across teams and as well integrating Peakon capabilities into Workday. 

The team is vital to assuring execution on key elements of the product roadmap, central tooling and service integrations, and pivotal development work high on our customers wishlist.

In this role, you will guide the product team through the product development lifecycle and drive the team deliveries. You will inspire and set the direction for the team, ensure execution and measure outcome success. You will play a key part in defining the ambitions and roadmap for the team and lead planning and prioritization.

Apart from working with your development team you will collaborate across the remaining Peakon product teams and across the wider Workday organisation to deliver on cross-team initiatives through discovery, scoping, development, release, test and maintenance.

What you will do

  • Drive the direction and delivery for the Customer Foundation team in collaboration with product leadership

  • Driving the successful roadmap that builds shared functionality for the 3 different Peakon products and building integration frameworks for how data and functionality is integrated between Peakon and Workday.

  • Be part of defining how to measure success and prioritize accordingly

  • Own the day to day activities in the team in close collaboration with the engineering manager

  • Ensure your team is doing the right things, while not being spread too thin. Maintain a healthy balance of innovation, support, and maintenance

  • Effectively collaborate across the company with engineering, design, sales, customer success and other product teams

  • Clearly communicate key results and outcomes

  • Being a significant contributor to the product management practice and culture at Peakon, Workday

  • Contribute to an inspiring and inclusive product management culture

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • Solid experience working within a technical Product Management function

  • Experience leading a product team on business-critical product initiatives
     

Other Qualifications

  • Ability to take multiple inputs and hone in on key focus areas. You can take diverse input, customer feedback, technical feasibility and turn them into a product roadmap

  • Passion for solving key problems. You have strong empathy for your product users, can identify customer pains and come up with relevant solutions.

  • You inspire and enjoy working closely with a team of developers, running planning, refinement, stand-ups etc

  • Great communication and presentation abilities and able to communicate to various stakeholders and people of varied technical ability

  • Technically proficient: You have thorough knowledge of software development and have a technical background

  • Standout colleague and good relationship building skills. You are a good collaborator and enjoy supporting the team to achieve success.

  • Proven track record of taking ownership, handling product challenges and driving results
