The Workday Productivity Technology team empowers our customers with experiences that elevate the work of 4000+ customers who use Workday to run their business. Drawing on familiar paradigms and products from the consumer world, this team strives to help customers feel more comfortable and confident working with complex Workday tasks, content, and messaging technologies without requiring our users to have a high degree of Workday-specific expertise.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to help launch a Platform that enables other Product teams to quickly deliver GenAI capabilities across the Workday product. This is an unique opportunity to be part of the GenAI revolution within an Enterprise company. It’s a hands-on role, where you’ll be working to understand Partner needs and then lead the overall process of taking product features from concept through to production. 

About You

You are customer-centric, understanding the business value our solutions provide. You are excited to learn, detail-oriented, decisive, and enjoy a fast-paced work environment. You are an initiator, early adopter, and technology enthusiast, able to translate internal consumer needs into detailed requirements and prototypes. 

You should have a strong technical background and a deep understanding of the latest GenAI industry trends and advancements. Your ability to navigate complex technical landscapes and make informed decisions will be critical in driving the successful uptake of our Platform.

You are a collaborative team player who uses influential leadership to coordinate and deliver results across multiple Product & Engineering teams. You are ambitious, always looking to take on new work and get great pleasure from helping others understand, coordinate and address their challenges.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of product management experience

  • 4+ years of product owner experience

  • 4+ years of professional experience translating customer and market needs into product deliverables and release support through the entire product life cycle

Other Qualifications

  • Experience in delivering Full stack Platform capabilities to internal Product Delivery Teams.

  • Experience leading Platform centric teams within a larger Product organization.

  • Thrive in a highly collaborative, agile, continuous discovery and continuous delivery mindset

  • You have a technical background with an understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies

  • Technical acumen and deeper familiarity with the nuances and inner workings of the engineering organization

  • Experience creating and communicating enterprise software product strategies to all levels of leadership

  • Ability to work with engineers to understand estimates, review technical specifications, architecture plans, and participate in security, scalability and infrastructure activities

  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones and countries

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done

  • Track record of leading all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $144,000 USD – $216,000 USD


Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $136,800 USD – $246,000 USD
