About the Team
This role supports Workday’s Global Customer Support organization, a global team of expert problem-solvers dedicated to delivering the best customer support experiences and solutions in the industry. Aligned to the Global Support Operations & Enablement (GSOE) team, you’ll work with peers focused on enabling and empowering Workmates around the world by providing compelling content and experiences.
About the Role

Plan, develop, and deliver written internal communication: You’ll own an editorial calendar of content for a variety of communication channels including a weekly newsletter, visually-impactful emails, videos, slides, and intranet articles.

Handle and own content for employee programs: You’ll play an important role cheering on teammates across Support and celebrating their achievements while also fostering a supportive, inclusive workplace. This includes managing a quarterly recognition program–from encouraging nominations to announcing recipients. You’ll also assist with content development for monthly and quarterly employee events.Â

Make messaging come alive with graphic design and video: We’re all about visual storytelling! In this role, you will develop short videos and inventive graphics to get the message across.

Build the brand: Use your written communication skills to help round up industry awards for this best-in-class team. You’ll research relevant industry awards, compile content, and run the application process for multiple high-profile awards.Â
About You
Basic Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree, professional certification, or verified work experience in an employee communications-related role for 5+ years
-
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
-
Excellent copy-writing and editing skills as well as strong digital content creation skills
-
Experience communicating to a broad employee population with the ability to tailor messages to various audiences using appropriate tone, nuance, and level of information

Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to develop and deliver multiple, end-to-end communications plans with minimal guidance

Polished presentation and creative content design skills with a sharp eye for detail, quality, aesthetic, and adherence to brand guidelines
-
Event planning experience with a track record of creative solutions to increase employee engagement
-
Excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team

Expert command of the following tools:

Google Drive: Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Sites

Microsoft: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Visual design and video editing tools such as Camtasia, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier, SnagIt

Other Qualifications

Experience writing and managing award applications

Experience or certification in organizational change

Technical writing experience with the ability to make complex ideas and processes easily understandable

Willingness to occasionally work outside of regular business hours

Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build productive relationships at all levels of the organizationÂ

Proficient command or ability to quickly learn the following tools: Acrobat Pro, Zoom Meetings and Events, Confluence, Smartsheets, Slack, Staffbase, MiroÂ
