About the Team

Workday Presales Solution Consultants partner with our sales teams to identify customer pain points, and then propose and demonstrate solutions that leverage Workday HCM/Payroll and related cloud solutions. Successful HCM/Payroll Solution Consultants are strategic advisors to CHROs, CFOs, and CIOs in organizations across France.

About the Role

Workday is looking for an experienced Presales Solution Consultant with Human Capital Management (HCM) and Payroll expertise to join our LE Team.

If you have deep knowledge of Human Capital Management software and posses software presales experience (or related experience presenting and demonstrating HCM/Payroll applications to a C-level audience), this is your chance to help organizations improve their business operations and employee experience through adoption of a modern and comprehensive Enterprise Management Cloud. 

As a Workday HCM/Payroll Solution Consultant, you will use your in-depth product knowledge to provide ERP expertise to the sales team and the customers.

Presales are involved throughout the sales cycle from initial qualification, discovery through tailored product demonstrations, deep dives and including executive level presentations. You will act as a trusted adviser to prospects and customers and provide consultation on product capability and value.

Responsibilities include:

  • The delivery of relevant technical product presentations, demonstrations, workshops and seminars.
  • To assist in the closure of sales opportunities by demonstrating a complete understanding of and resolving questions regarding our solution, services and training.
  • To contribute to the qualification of prospects, proposed demonstration criteria, proof of concept system builds and sales cycle closure plans.
  • Supporting all sales, marketing, technical and channel objectives.
  • To assist sales in the response to RFIs.

About You

  • Basic Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of expertise in interactive customer discovery and analysis of current operations and business needs
  • 6 or more years of expertise in development and presentation of demonstrations that showcase cutting edge HCM/Payroll solutions for prospects and customers exceeding 3500 employees
  • Experience across a broad range of HCM applications, including core HR functions, Payroll, Compensation, Performance, Time Tracking and Learning.
  • Pre-sales / Sales Consulting experience with HCM enterprise business solutions
  • Unrivaled professional discovery, presentation, communication, and influencing skills to C-Level executives, interfacing with and selling to the offices of the CHRO, CFO, and CIO
  • Ability to travel ~40%
  • Other Requirements

  • Services / FSI industry experience preferred
  • Experience of valued based selling
  • Previous consulting experience with a consulting/Software company preferred.
  • A self starter with a desire to learn and grow.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work under pressure and work on multiple projects individually as well as being part of different teams.
