About the Team

The Sr. Manager, Business Innovation & Transformation will be joining the growing CAO Business Innovation and Transformation team. This team drives major innovation and technology solutions projects across the finance org. We’re a diverse group of people, with an invaluable mix of experience and are very supportive of each other.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for business enablement, technology based transformation and process automation for the Hire-to-Retire based teams within the CAO organization. This role combines technical expertise, project management and leadership skills. This role will assist large cross-functional implementation with automation as key focus to support various stakeholders like Payroll, Stock Administration, Benefits and Payroll Accounting. This is an exciting role that provides individuals an opportunity to transform business processes and evolve finance into a more technology driven organization.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for Hire-to-Retire business automation team  under CAO

  • Lead and mentor a team of business analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment

  • Build a structured intake process to identify, analyze, and document existing business processes to identify areas for automation and improvement

  • Build strong working relationships with Finance, BT and Internal Controls teams and cross-functional business partners to drive alignment and key project objectives

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and implementation of automation projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in business process automation. Identify opportunities for further automation and process optimization.

  • Complete Automation Assessments across all functions to identify processes suitable for transformation and lead ideation to execution

  • Support our Global Payroll and Stock Administration organization by scaling their operations and support the implementation of various transformation initiatives

  • Support the implementation of Workday on Workday payrolls and leveraging Workday products to automate manual processes 

  • Lead implementation of PECI based third party payroll connectors 

  • Collaborate closely with third party vendors to ensure they are meeting value targets and quickly raise any risks or potential technology deficiencies

  • Ensure that automated processes comply with internal controls and compliance standards within various teams

  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure smooth adoption of automated processes. Implement change management strategies to drive organizational change and acceptance of automation initiatives

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • Direct experience with Workday HCM (Payroll / Absence /Time Tracking)

  • Minimum of 10-12  years of experience in business process automation, transformation and a proven track record of successful project delivery of large cross-functional projects 

  • Functional knowledge in 1 or more of the following areas: Payroll, General Ledger, Stock Admin, Benefits, Compensation, Absence, Timekeeping​

  • Bachelor’s degree

Other Qualifications:

  • Workday Payroll, absence and time-tracking Certification

  • Certification in Business Process Management (CBPM) or Project Management (PMP) strongly preferred

  • A strong presenter with excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies

  • Professional user of Microsoft Office tools

  • Experience in using Project Management tools like Asana, Smartsheets etc.

  • Excellent leadership skills and executive presence 

  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels

  • Attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills

  • Experience implementing Workday or similar application 

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $135,100 USD – $202,700 USD

 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $128,400 USD – $243,200 USD
