About the Role

About the Role

We are looking for a hardworking, innovative, and collaborative Consultant to be part of our team. In this role you will contribute to the successful implementation of the Workday solution with customers through product, testing and implementation expertise. The ideal candidate for this position should have prior experience in Test Automation , ERP Testing or implementing ERP systems, requirements gathering, configuration and data conversion. You should be detail oriented, self-motivated, proactive, outcome focused, and able to successfully partner with customers and your project team. Be ready to be challenged and have fun!

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Build good knowledge in at least 2 modules in the Workday product suite (HCM Core, Time, Absence OR Financials).

  • Perform the following on a customer engagement: understand customer business requirements, build Test strategy,, Test scenarios, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate the configurations through the building of prototype configuration, guide the customer in testing the Workday solution.

  • Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and use it on all customer engagements.

  • Ensure our customers take advantage of Workday's proven solutions.

  • Work with the customer to help convert legacy data into Workday.

  • Assist the Integration Consulting team in helping to configure and test integrations between Workday and third-party/custom solutions.

  • Program manage Testing Strategy, Creation and execution of lifecycle test scenarios for all testing cycles in scope.

  • Ensure optimal test coverage and test execution, enabling a smooth and timely transition to production.

  • Mentor and share Testing methodology and tools knowledge with other consultants.

  • Help deliver successful project outcomes and lasting customer relationships

  • Be responsible for the creation and maintenance of automated testware for customer specific business processes and integrations using Automation tools.

About You

Basic qualifications

  • 10+ years of ERP experience across any combination of the following HCM solutions: HCM Core, Time, Absence, Benefits, Recruiting or Financials

  • Experience in Testing or implementing Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate or similar applications.

  • Strong background in Writing and executing test scenarios for End-to-End testing cycles.

  • Good understanding of functional, technical design documents, integrations and data conversion.

  • 5+ years of proven experience in Automation testing of SaaS and/or cloud-based Enterprise applications like Workday

  • Experience with testing tool(s) such as Selenium, Jenkins, Robot Frame Work or equivalent for creating automation scripts and tools.

  • Passion for customer service!

  • Good verbal, presentation, and written communication skills, with proficiency in partnering with various internal teams and customers .

  • Ability to work across different SKU’s simultaneously.

  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.

  • Resourceful and adaptable; you’ll be comfortable working in a new role, using a variety of tools with a high degree of autonomy.
