About the Role

A member of Workday’s Professional Services organization, the Technical Consultant is passionate about the implementation of our cloud based Human Resources, Financial Management and Student Information Systems. This role works closely with the customer’s project team to design, develop and deploy solutions for one or more of the following focal areas: Data Conversion, Functional, Reporting and Analytics.

The integration consultant develops solutions to synchronize data between Workday’s cloud-based software and external systems. This role partners with customer teams to gather design specifications, utilize workday development tools to build and deploy interfaces and integrations to/from Workday’s customers various upstream and downstream system. It will be your responsibility to project manage large deliverables across a team of technical resources under your preview for that project(s) and ensure overall project success.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Workday Reporting experience and ability to craft, develop, and deploy end to end reporting solutions.
  • Functional application experience in Financials (AP, Journal, Ledger, Supplier Accounts, Banking & Settlement, Payment Acknowledgement etc.)
  • Technical Expertise on Workday Report Writer, Composite Reports, Dashboards, OfficeConnect & Worksheets
  • Knowledge of Prism & Accounting Center

Other Qualifications

  • Being a critical position, candidates with shorter notice period would be preferred.
  • Functional application experience in HCM or Financials or Student Information Systems
  • Data Modeling experience
  • Over 8 years of experience in a customer facing role implementing Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft etc.
  • Knowledge of XML, XSLT.
  • Bachelors in Engineering and Master of Business in Finance Domain would be preferred.
  • Ability to chip in to multiple timezone projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Outstanding research skills and resourcefulness.
  • Can work in a fast paced, fast-growth, high-energy environment and deal with multiple high priority activities concurrently.
  • Phenomenal teammate who can collaborate and communicate successfully with all partners; i.e. developers, technical operations, and customers.
