About the Role

We are looking for a hardworking, innovative, and collaborative Workday HCM Consultant to join our testing services team. In this role you will ensure the successful implementation of the Workday HCM solution with customers through your test management and functional consulting expertise. This role will be responsible for the creation of lifecycle test scenarios for all testing cycles in scope, based on the customer’s context and configuration design. Individuals in this role will collaborate with the deployment consultants and the customer team in ensuring optimal test coverage and test execution to ensure a smooth and timely transition to production. Be ready to be challenged and have fun!

  • Master at least 2 modules in the Workday HCM product suite (HCM Core, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent and Performance, Learning)

  • Perform the following on an engagement: understand client business requirements, configure the Workday solution, validate configurations and tenant build, lead test scenario creation and assist the test lead and customer in testing the Workday solution

  • Assist the Integration team in testing integrations between Workday and third party/custom solutions

  • Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements. 

About You

HCM Consultant Basic Qualifications (Must Haves)

  • 3 – 5 years of experience with Workday HCM, Payroll/Time/Absence software solutions (implementing, configuring, testing, etc.).

  • 2 years of consulting experience in the Workday HCM product suite (HCM Core, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent and Performance, Learning etc.

Senior HCM Consultant Basic Qualifications (Must Haves)

  • 5 – 7+ years of experience with Workday HCM, Payroll/Time/Absence software solutions (implementing, configuring, testing, etc.).

  • 2 – 5+ years of consulting experience in the Workday HCM product suite – HCM Core, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent and Performance, Learning etc.

Other Qualifications

  • Experience writing Workday test scenarios for Unit and End-to-End testing cycles

  • Understanding of technical design documents, integrations and data conversion

  • Previous background in consulting or Workday’s deployment methodology and processes is a plus

  • Prior experience with test management tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet etc.

  • Good verbal, presentation, and written communication skills, with proficiency in partnering with various internal teams and customers

  • Ability to work across different Workday SKU’s / Modules

  • Resourceful and adaptable; you’ll be comfortable working in a new role, using a variety of tools with a high degree of autonomy

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

Note: This role will be based in one of the following Workday office locations: Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Austin, TX, Frisco TX, Berwyn, PA or Salt Lake City, UT as we are working in a hybrid model (50% remote and 50% in-office / at customer).

    Workday Pay Transparency Statement – United States 

    The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.     Primary Location Base Pay Range: $91,100 – $136,700

     

    Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $86,600 – $157,300
