About the Team
The Workday Extend Services team focuses on the implementation of custom business applications or application extensions using Workday’s Extend technology. These custom applications and extensions will be built to run along with Workday’s Human Resources, Financial Management, and Student Information Systems.
About the Role
An Extend Consultant works closely with the customer’s project team to craft, build and deploy custom Extend applications and solutions.
You will work directly with our customers to craft and develop innovative solutions to business challenges.
You’ll lead discovery sessions with customer domain specialists across various technical and product areas to assemble requirements and deliver accurate design documentation.
You will build and review technical designs that are consistent, maintainable, flexible and efficient.
You will develop creative, scalable proof of concepts to address bespoke and sophisticated requirements.
You will provide counsel to our customers and partners on how to best integrate their internal and third-party solutions with their Workday Extend apps.
You’ll provide technical mentorship and oversight on Workday’s platforms, guiding on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
You will use your field experience and product expertise to support our pre-sales organization in talking with prospective customers.
3+ years experience implementing Workday solutions using Human Capital Management, Financial Management or Student Information Systems.
2+ years experience designing and delivering cloud application solutions end-to-end in a consulting role.
Superb communication capability.
Excellent presentation skills.
Proficient in handling contending priorities.
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical teams.
Ability to mentor consultants and lead small teams.
Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
