Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create, review, and participate in functional and regression testing for all system fixes, upgrades, patches, and other maintenance – including bi-annual Workday releases and new system features – and participate in the communication of changes and benefits to users.
  • Lead projects as defined by leadership, which includes leading meetings, providing regular project updates, and adhering to project deadlines.
  • Complete mass uploads for complex events in Workday.
  • Partner with all areas of HR to create, edit and prepare reports and user-friendly dashboards.
  • Work closely with HR leadership, business partners and technical teams to gather and define requirements, recommendations, document changes for change control purposes, design and implement solutions, and ensure user ease of adoption.
  • Complete annual reports such as OSHA filing and EEO- 1 report.
  • Create and maintain Compensation, Absence, and Benefit plans. Evaluate relationships between plans, eligibility rules, business process definitions, and integrations.
  • Responsible for providing Workday technical support, configuration, and security maintenance while partnering with others for HCM maintenance and optimal system functionality.
  • Support the use of Workday including: HCM Workflows, Self Service, Talent Management, Absence, Recruiting, and Reporting and Analytics.
  • Implement configuration changes to existing functionality using control methodology. Assess functional configuration changes for impact to business processes, other system values, and integrations. Complete system and user acceptance testing.
  • Develop system expertise for support of complex and new functionality.
  • Partner with others on system functionality, configuration, and documentation.

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity; ability to exercise appropriate judgement.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline preferred and/or professional experience in a related position
  • HRIS or related experience required
  • Preferred experience in at least one or more of Workday’s domains (Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Time and Absence, Payroll, Performance, Recruiting)
  • Workday Certifications are a plus

Work Environment:

  • Office environment.
  • Occasional travel will be required.
