Our GRC team is growing, and we’re looking for dedicated professionals with a proven background in security governance, compliance reporting, process and controls implementation, risk analysis and reporting!

As WP Engine continues to grow, GRC has wide ranging visibility and provides a unique opportunity to actively partner with departments across the organization. As a Lead GRC Analyst, you will contribute to WP Engine’s ability to achieve security risk and compliance goals through control framework development and implementation, which will in turn directly affect our ability to support our customers and grow the business. GRC falls within the Security team, where you will be able to make an impact while solving exciting and challenging problems. The day to day.
Establish, manage and effectively scale new and existing GRC processes and initiatives, seeking out opportunities for improvement across security domains.
Work with internal partners to remediate identified issues and gaps.
Collaborate with partners to develop and track process improvements in line with policy, compliance reporting objectives and industry standard process methodology.
Track and clearly report progress of initiatives.
Partner with external audit firms on audit and compliance initiatives, including coordinating relevant activities between internal and external teams.
Work with our Sales and Support teams to manage collateral and prepare customer questionnaire responses related to WP Engine security programs, processes and control environment.
5-7 years relevant experience in an audit, GRC or other risk management role
Consistent record of designing, testing, implementing and reviewing controls
Knowledge across a variety of security domains
Experience leading regulatory or compliance initiatives
Ability to communicate and influence across teams and experience levels
Ability to translate compliance requirements for technical implementations in complex environments
Experience with cloud environments
Experience working with global and distributed teams
In-depth understanding of one or more security assurance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, SOC, PCI)
CISA, CISSP, or other relevant certification is a plus
