WP Engine is looking for a Senior Employee Experience (HR) Generalist to manage employee support and employee relations in Poland as well as Ireland, UK, and other international locations. The ideal candidate will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, assisting with essential functions such as employee relations, compliance, and employee lifecycle support. The person will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to uphold our values and address complex organizational challenges through people-focused solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate Across Teams. Collaborate with team across Employee Experience, ensuring a coordinated effort to meet business needs, including Business Partners, recruiting, talent development, total rewards and systems
     

  • Employee Support. Be an approachable and trusted partner to employees at every level of the organization. Address issues related to communication, management, performance, career development, policy interpretation, and maintaining a respectful workplace
     

  • Employee Relations. Handle employee relations matters with high professional standards, providing counseling and coaching to manager and staff while ensuring a prompt, detailed, and fair resolution across multiple countries
     

  • Compliance with Labor Laws. Verify that internal policies and operations are compliant with local labor laws and monitor changes in HR-related legislation
     

  • Administrative Tasks. Handle various administrative tasks, including onboarding, exit interview, data entry in HRIS (Workday), ZUS (Poland), other payroll platforms, and audit for accuracy and compliance
     

  • Personnel Record Management. Oversee and monitor personnel records, Prepare employment contract, contractual addenda, annexes, and changes in terms and conditions of employment
     

  • Case Management. Manage the Global HR Email inbox and Workday Case Management tool by answering employee requests or directing them to the appropriate owner of the process

     

Qualifications

  • Over five years of experience in employee relation working in a fast paced tech environment

  • Working knowledge of EMEA labor law is essential. Must have direct experience handling employee relations cases in Poland, as well as UK and Ireland, along with awareness of social security regulations, standards, legislation, and emerging trends that may affect HR practices

  • Advanced knowledge of HRIS (pref: Workday) and ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary

  • Effective communication, agility, flexibility, consistency and accountability to achieve a positive outcome

  • Relationship builder, providing clear feedback with understanding and influencing through expertise and business insight

  • High level of business maturity with a focus on protecting sensitive information

  • Fluency in English & Polish

Base Salary Range

zÅ‚112 000,00 – zÅ‚168 000,00

We believe that compensation should be reflective of the impact you have within the organization relative to the market value of your role. The estimated base salary range for this position is as listed above. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Our salary ranges are determined by job role and responsibilities and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for salaries for the position nationwide. The actual base pay will vary based on various factors including job-related skills and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
