About the role

We are looking for an experienced System Analyst to help us advance our mission to Zillow 2.0! You will work side by side with outstanding development teams both within Corporate Applications and across Zillow Core Tech.

As a Senior Applications Analyst, you will:

  • Support key business initiatives by implementing and improving Financial business applications (eg. Workday, Zuora, Anaplan and home grown applications etc.).

  • Analyze business requirements and translate into system/technical specifications or configuration steps.

  • Partner with other roles across Corp Apps and Product/Operations teams to design, discuss trade-offs, dependencies, perform fit-gap analysis, in order to drive the delivery of scalable end-end solutions.

  • Build deep functional knowledge, advocate for configuration standards across multiple verticals. (eg. AP, AR, Expenses, Procurement, Accounting, Financial Reporting, etc.).

  • Supports UAT activities by assisting with test case creation, error resolution and debugging assistance.

  • Operate in compliance with ZG IT policies and other SOX requirements.

  • Provide Level 2 Operational support, including mass loads tasks, ad hoc business process, security config, Role/user access updates etc.

  • Participate in on-call incident triage, and issue resolution.

  • Occasionally works with multi-functional teams for clarification and troubleshooting (FinOps, POps, IT helpdesk etc.).

  • Support semi-annual Workday/monthly Zuora Release activities and any cyclical updates related to assigned functional areas.

  • Develop documentation to support each phase of work and builds artifacts related to internal Corp Apps knowledge base.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $124,700.00 – $199,300.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • 5-7+ years’ experience working in an application consulting or application analyst role supporting Workday Finance, Accounting, Planning, or Procurement systems, and Zuora applications.

  • Solid understanding of how configuration, integrations, Application security and administration work.

  • Passion for implementing and improving the business user experience or transactional flows.

  • Outstanding critical thinking skills to analyze requirements and design implement scalable solutions either independently or by working with a team.

  • Familiarity with the Agile methodology and able to partner with various business teams to extract requirements and raise awareness.

  • Preferred experience with Workday, Zuora, Anaplan, JIRA, ServiceNow, Confluence, Google Docs.

  • Technical knowledge of API’s, Web Services, XML and XSLT is highly preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree (MIS, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred) or meaningful experience.
