AAA Club Alliance is seeking a HR Shared Services Representative to join our team!

*The position is work from home, but the selected candidate must be within 1-hour of Wilmington, DE*

The primary duties of the HR Shared Services Representative are to:

  • Responds to all tier 1 Associate and manager inquiries coming into the HR Service Center through telephone, email or other methods. Inquiries include but are not limited to questions pertaining to benefits, process, procedure, payroll, policy, etc.

  • Escalates more complex issues to the appropriate HR Service Center Specialist (tier 2) and follows-up to ensure timely resolution and response to Associates.

  • Administers Associate related programs including but not limited to service awards, recognition, tuition assistance and performance reviews.

  • Conducts payroll administration including auditing timesheets, communicating with managers/time sheet approvers, investigating check errors and working with managers, employment verifications and researching/verifying payroll situations (garnishments, stop payments, etc.)

  • Supports performance management including answering policy & procedure inquiries (escalating, as required); performing intake on discipline concerns including completing & issuing standard memos/letters; and unemployment administrative procedures including intake and issuing standard letters.

  • Interacts with internal (COs, Field HR) resources to acquire needed information to lead work to completion.

  • Reviews dashboard metrics daily to optimize efficiency and ensure work is completed in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs)

  • Participates on Human Resources and/or company-wide project teams.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in HR or equivalent experience required

  • PHR preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in human resources

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with tact and diplomacy

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Ability to listen and understand information presented through spoken or written words, as well as, convey information effectively to others

  • Ability to effectively communicate to others on policies, practices, and procedure

  • Effective at capturing and synthesizing information from multiple parties

  • Ability to handle sensitive and highly personal information daily and maintain confidentiality in a mature and insightful manner

  • Ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of various Federal, State and Local labor laws and other Human Resources related topics.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with case management technology and Workday transactions preferred.
