Your RoleÂ
Â
Alchemy's Engagement Director will provide project leadership, develop enduring partnerships with customers, and ensure the successful deployment of Workday. The Engagement Director will oversee and take full ownership of overall project deliverables and milestones to ensure the successful deployment of the Workday HCM, Financials, and/or Student product, ensuring projects are deployed on time, within budget, and according to our customers’ high-quality expectations.  The Engagement Director will also be responsible for mentoring and developing less experienced engagement managers.Â

Your responsibilitiesÂ
- Enhance and expand Alchemy’s State and Local Government capability while supporting Higher Education projects
- Ensure Workday deployments are properly planned, staffed, and delivered successfullyÂ
- Communicate and work effectively with customer stakeholders/steering committees, customer project managers, and internal teams to ensure a positive, sustainable resultÂ
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budgetÂ
- Identify the risks associated with the project and appropriately escalate project issues to customer team and internal stakeholdersÂ
- Develop risk mitigation solutions as needed with input from the internal project team and stakeholdersÂ
- Solid understanding of Workday HCM, Financials, and/or Student product suitesÂ
- Complete Workday project management certification and become an expert in adapting the Workday implementation methodologyÂ
- Support the sales cycles by assisting with scoping, project estimation, Statement of Work review and conducting orals presentationsÂ
- Demonstrate extensive industry expertise and the ability to create tailored solutions for prospects and customers by integrating Workday with third-party systems Â
About you (Required skills)Â
- Extensive large enterprise (LE) Workday project management experience and the desire to support LE Workday Platform for Higher Education and State and Local Government engagements as Alchemy seeks to move upmarketÂ
- Ability to grow Alchemy’s capability in the State and Local Government spaceÂ
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skillsÂ
- Demonstrated leadership ability in a team environment and ability to motivate project team membersÂ
- Ability to logically and efficiently structure ambiguous problems, identify sources of data, and conduct complicated analysis with a solution-based approachÂ
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively manage customer expectationsÂ
- Proficient project financial acumenÂ
- Proficient in project management software and creating project plans, reports, and dashboardsÂ
- Bachelor's Degree or commensurate work experienceÂ
- Ability to travel 25%+Â
