Purpose of the role
The Talent Acquisition Partner provides a comprehensive advisory service for the business’ recruitment needs from the recruitment campaign approval to start date, supporting the business in attracting, sourcing and recruiting high calibre individuals through the provision of a proactive, efficient, and professional end-to-end recruitment service.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Support the business in effective recruitment for roles up to and including those roles that sit within the Business Leadership band
- Work closely with the business on Strategic Resourcing activity to define both short and long term resource plans
- External market insight and direct sourcing – e.g. database mining, specialist job board posting, LinkedIn search, social media, networking
- Create a pipeline of talented candidates to meet forecast needs
- Support and advise hiring managers and HR colleagues in identifying and advising on the most effective sourcing and attraction methods
- Lead Campaign kick-off meetings and coach/support managers through an effective recruitment campaign
- Ensure job adverts are written in line with BSI requirements, are engaging and effective
- Agency briefing and handover to Hiring Manager for detailed conversation
- CV & Application screening for all roles
- Assessment Centre co-ordination and facilitation, if required
- Ability test administration & insight, if required
- Candidate and agency liaison regarding offers and decline feedback
- Identify opportunities for raising BSI’s employer brand including representation at Industry events, open days, careers fairs and partnership with local FE establishments
- Provide weekly and monthly progress reports to stakeholders and ensure accuracy of information stored in the TA recruitment systems
- Undertake additional projects and duties to support the TA team as appropriate
- Provide recruitment system coaching and support to colleagues to ensure (and monitor) its’ effective use; embedding upgrades and highlighting system issues/development opportunities
- Contribute to the management and effectiveness of BSI recruitment PSL
Language requirements: Business English and native Mandarin
Person Specification
- Bachelor degree is essential
- Experience in a Recruitment role within a fast-paced environment across the required region (North Asia preferred)
- Recruitment Management System experience
- Direct sourcing/headhunting experience
- Experience of using creative sourcing methods including social media
- Experience recruiting across multiple regions
- Experience in using ATS – Workday system is preferred.
