WHAT WE OFFER

Our CFO (Chief Financial Officer) function manages the economic processes of our company. He is also responsible for legal issues and provides IT solutions for the entire Group. Our diverse team of dedicated employees is spread across multiple locations in all regions and supports the global IT system and application landscape for the Covestro HR function. Together as a team, we cover all aspects typically represented in IT: Business Demand Management, Application Development, and Operations and Maintenance. With this challenging work, we drive digitalisation in the Group. 

  • You are responsible for defining and implementing the Workday Extend roadmap within the IT&D HR landscape in line with the HR strategy

  • You will constantly gain an overview of the development of Workday Extend by keeping up to date with market developments

  • You will have a good understanding of the advanced presentation components of Workday Extend, Advanced Data and Orchestration Services

  • You will take global responsibility for the operational stability of Workday Extend applications and will also be responsible for designing solutions

  • You will manage the coordination within IT&D and HR to gather, understand and analyse business requirements for Extend applications

  • You define project scopes and plan the execution of them

  • Actively working on incidents/improvements to support existing Extend applications and taking project lead on a global level for the implementation of Extend applications is also part of your responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for testing procedures, verification and release of Workday Extend applications, as well as ensuring compliance with internal controls

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • You have successfully completed a degree with a focus on information technology, business informatics or a comparable field of study

  • You have several years of experience in Workday Extensions as well as in the field of software programming with JSON, XML and JavaScript

  • You have experience as a Workday Extend Consultant, preferably in the implementation of new Extend solutions

  • You have strong consulting and communication skills

  • You have the ability to effectively and actively participate in multiple projects of varying sizes

  • A strong solution orientation and the ability to work in a global team are a matter of course for you

  • Business fluent English and German as well as experience with project management methods (SDLC, Agile) complete your profile
