Overview
Job Location:
Montreal, Quebec
Reporting to the Sr Manger, Financial Systems, the Business Analyst’s main purpose will be to help support the team in maintaining and supporting Workday for the business. He/she will work closely within the team to help the team deliver.
- Under the direction of the Financial Systems Manager, be the support contact for WD administrative activities such as:
- Administering new or changes to cost centers, spend categories, worktags etc.
- Performing, streamlining or coordinating testing for Workday releases in Sandbox
- Following up on any Workday Customer Center cases
- Research workday community for improvements to business processes or solutions to existing issues
- Administer changes to the Delegation of Authority for invoice approval.
- Add, change and maintain existing integrations and schedule reports
- Build and maintain finance EIBs and Integrations, ensure daily integrations run smooth
- Build and maintain finance business processes in Workday
- Build, change, maintain reports, dashboards in WD
- Support adoption of Workday features driving value for the Finance team
- Cross train in all other processes that impact the team such as Web Focus, Symphony, Loanserv, Vision, Adaptive Insights, HDW.
- Assist in cross training or providing training sessions to Finance.
- Understand and help maintain appropriate documentation in sharepoint.
Specific Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Finance or Computer Science.
- Strong computer skills and solid foundation to learn WD as well as other softwares that impact Finance.
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi task.
- Ability to work autonomously and self-reliantly while having strong teamwork skills.
- Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required.
- Ability to drive various stakeholders in determining the best process or solution to an issue.
- Bilingual required to communicate with our clients across Canada
