What you’ll Do

The Workday Techno-Functional Lead Engineer develops and supports GameStop’s Workday continuous improvement efforts. This role will partner with stakeholders across the business to proactively build solutions to complex challenges, mitigate risk, reduce waste, and ultimately provide the best UX to GameStop associates.

This role will be a forward thinker with a passion for problem solving and continuous improvement. This is an individual contributor role.

This position will sit onsite in Grapevine, TX.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

· Perform advanced configuration within multiple Workday modules, including Core HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Onboarding.

· Build and maintain complex Workday integrations/API.

· Document Workday system integration flows and identify/implement opportunities to reduce waste and risks

· Stay up to date on Workday releases, partner with the business to discuss new functionality, and then implement enhancements as directed by leadership.

· Partner with business stakeholders to identify solutions to challenges and then build those solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

· A bachelor degree from an accredited program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience required.

· Advanced experience performing complex configuration within multiple Workday modules, including Core HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Talent and Performance Management

· Advanced knowledge of Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connector, API, Workday Studio and packaged integrations.

· Advanced knowledge of system integration protocols and standards (i.e. HL7, XSLT, SOAP, XML, JSON, JDBC, Java, etc.).

· Experience with continuous improvement and root cause analysis.

· Proficient written and verbal communication skills using spoken English, including the ability to explain complex ideas to others with varying levels of expertise throughout the organization.

· Ability to organize and prioritize job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities

· Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others; conducts working relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization in a globally distributed, culturally diverse development environment, and communicate with all levels of the organization.

· Consistently demonstrates a commitment to GameStop policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, Data security/privacy protocols, and ethical responsibilities.

· Must be available and willing to work outside of standard business hours, as needed.
