The Senior Manager, Digital HR will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of HR technology at Ingredion! S/he will lead and drive the adoption of major/leading HR technologies globally, with a focus on Workday HCM. Deep expertise in HR processes, data, reporting, Workday HCM and technology implementations is critical to success in this role. It requires strong digital experience / solution design ability, and hands-on configuration experience with Workday HCM. In addition, this leader will collaborate with other Digital HR COE team members to leverage current / emerging HR technologies to continually optimize HR service delivery. S/he will collaborate with COEs, Business HR, HR Shared Services (HRSS), and external vendors to create end-to-end HR solutions that enable the HR strategy, integrated employee experience, and HR operations.

Core Responsibilities:

Lead full-cycle design and delivery of Workday HCM-enabled solutions to enable the HR operating model, while delivering an engaging employee experience. Workday HCM major scope includes Core HR, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Advanced Comp, Learning and Journeys, Lead discovery and design for a multitude of digital HR services and processes. Provide internal consulting to Global Process Owners and HRSS Teams on solution vision, scope and requirements definition. Collaboratively, create end-to-end solutions that integrate Workday HCM capabilities with other experience platforms like ServiceNow and intelligent automation capabilities, including but not limited to RPA and conversational AI. Lead implementation of new Workday HCM modules and/or significant enhancements to existing functionality. As a Workday Functional expert,

  •  Lead (and where applicable, perform) all phases of Workday HCM solution development, including requirements, design, configuration, testing and deployment.
  • Collaborate with internal / external parties on Integrations design, configuration, and testing.
  • Define change management and adoption approach for Workday HCM solutions, create, review or deliver training and communications.
  • Define Workday data management approach, including ensure proactive data quality management.
  • Develop, review or approve solution documentation, including but not limited to Business Requirement Documents, Functional Specifications, Test Plans and Test Scripts, Project Plan, Issues / Risks logs, Code Migration Plan etc.

Manage day-to-day Workday HCM operations by coaching HRSS teams on case resolution, monitoring solution effectiveness, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities. Trouble-shoot issues (hands-on) when/as applicable. Measure and monitor Workday HCM solutions’ employee experience impact. Continuously improve workforce services, using data and feedback to develop creative, and intuitive solutions. In collaboration with the HR Functional Excellence Team, manage portfolio of HR technology projects and enhancements. Define/refine Workday HCM platform governance approach and procedures. Manage Workday HCM AMS vendor relationship, projects, and services delivery. Proactively assess, communicate, and mitigate operational risks. Coach HR and HRSS Teams on Workday HCM capabilities, configurations, and testing. Support Ingredion’s Digital HR roadmap development and continuous journey management

  • Research emerging trends and developments in Workday HCM capabilities, as well as other relevant HR technologies to elevate HR operational effectiveness/efficiency and the workforce experience.
  • Evaluate and recommend HR technology solutions based on strategic / operational requirements.
  • Develop business case and ROI analyses that inform future investments.

Collaborate globally, with internal and external stakeholders to elevate HR operational effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualified candidates will have:

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Human Resources, or other analytical discipline, with relevant standalone certificates / coursework.
  • 12+ years experience in HR, including comprehensive expertise in HR process design, data management, reporting, functional HR solution design, and technology solution implementations.
  • 7+ years experience with major Cloud HCM platforms like Workday HCM, Oracle and SuccessFactors. Must have 5+ years experience with Workday HCM, including certifications.
  • Experience in Workday HCM solution design, hands-on configuration, and implementations on at least 2 full lifecycle projects.
  • Deep HR process, data architecture, reporting and security knowledge in Workday Core HCM, and at least 1-2 other process areas/SKUs – Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Career Hub, Compensation, Learning and Journeys.
  • Experience with digital experience design, knowledge of core HR personas, and solution personalization concepts. Skilled at using data, analytics, and anecdotes to develop insights and drive decisions around Workforce Experience design.
  • 5+ years project and / or people management experience. Proficient in managing technology solution implementations with internal, external, and distributed global teams.
  • 3+ years experience working in a global COE / Business HR / Shared Services environment.
  • Experience in HR service delivery design / management leveraging employee experience platforms like ServiceNow / Salesforce / Other.
  • Strong Digital HR technology architecture knowledge, including familiarity with modern HR technology ecosystem, AI-enabled operations optimization solutions and workforce engagement solutions. Ability to anticipate future trends, and help others envision possibilities.
  • Experience with content development and management for technology-enabled processes, training and communications.
  • Significant Project Management and Change Management experience on mid-sized technology implementations.
  • Ability to design and track workforce experience solution impacts and business outcomes.
  • Experience in engaging and influencing senior leaders.
  • Comprehensive analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • A research-minded approach and solid general consulting skills.

Desired Additional Requirements:

  • Workday HCM certifications strongly preferred.
  • SHRM certification.
  • ServiceNow portal, case management and workflow design experience.
  • Process automation design experience. Familiarity with RPA solutions like UI path, Microsoft, or Blue Prism.
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence applications in HR, especially conversational AI (conversation design, service delivery optimization).
