About this role:

The HRIS Administrator is part of the Human Resources department and works closely with Payroll on a regular basis. As an integral part of the Human Resources department, this position will provide HRIS support, assist with generating headcount reports and assist day-to-day HRIS related queries.

Description

  • Process day-to-day daily employee transactions including inputting/updating changes and maintaining data in Workday
  • Assist with Workday log-in and troubleshooting issues
  • Design and distribute weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, year-end and ad-hoc reports
  • Assist with onboarding new employees and processing terminations
  • Conduct data integrity audits to confirm accuracy in Workday
  • Act as a liaison with Payroll; audit weekly and bi-weekly payroll submissions and changes
  • Maintain and update HR forms
  • Manage monthly background checks for compliance
  • Respond to unemployment claims and employment verification requests
  • Perform other projects or duties when required

  • Proficient in Excel

  • Working knowledge with HRIS, Workday preferred 
  • Must have strong understanding of relational databases and query concepts
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries and all level of employees through the organization

Required Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience with HRIS
  • Knowledge of Workday
  • Knowledge of report writing tools
