Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Support company initiatives and employees through HR Systems by supporting system configuration changes, enhancements, and reports. Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and processes while focusing on the end-user experience and data quality. Troubleshoot and understand complex issues. Proactively safeguard all data. Participate as a technical team member for release management. Ensure that HRIS is meeting the business and operational informational needs of the business.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:
60%:
-
Support complex configuration changes and enhancements and/or design, develop, and implement HRIS reports

Maintain and troubleshoot Company HR information systems and applications
-
Ensure proper security and privacy controls in reports
-
Provide technical support for HRIS staff and end users
-
Partner with stakeholders on system usage, functionality, and design
-
Execute testing plans to validate functionality

Support projects that impact data maintenance.
30%:
-
Serve as a liaison with Information & Digital Services and other business units on the functionality of HR systems

Partner with stakeholders on system usage, functionality, and design

Support audits of data within HR Systems
-
Participate as a technical team member for large-scale module testing, fixes, updates, and module roll-out

Follow established change management practices

Maintain a high level of knowledge of HR applications
10%:

Collaborate with the HRIS team on day-to-day use of HCM/ HRIS software and best practices

Provide support to end users
MINIMUM EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED:
Educational/Experience Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Human Resources or other related field or equivalent experience
-
3+ years related experience. Experience with Workday and UKG is a plus
Required Technical Skills/Knowledge:
-
Expertise in data management, reporting, business process and SaaS environments
General Knowledge and Abilities:
-
Strong background in systems, configuration and support
-
Technical skills with data extraction, analysis and reporting
-
High proficiency with Excel
-
Functional knowledge in Human Resources with excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information
-
Ability to solve complex problems using a broad perspective to identify solutions
-
Ability to work with a moderate level of supervision
-
Ability to juggle multiple projects with attention to priority
Physical Requirements: Use of computer, keyboard, telephone.
Work Environment: Office, non-manual work; the worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Some travel may be required.
