Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:  

Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and processes.  Execute and collaborate on reporting and configuration. Safeguard all data. Participate as a technical team member for release management. Ensure that HRIS is meeting the operational and informational needs of the business.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

60% – Troubleshoot Company HR information systems and applications. Develop and execute HRIS reports. Ensure proper security and privacy controls in reports. Research, document, test and implement configuration changes to HR systems due to enhancements and defects. Perform audits of data within HR systems and ensure data accuracy. Perform complex corrections to data.

30% – Serve as a liaison with business units on the functionality of HR systems. Partner with stakeholders on system usage, functionality and design. Support basic configuration changes and enhancements. Participate as a technical team member for large scale module testing, fixes, updates and module roll-out. Develop and maintain knowledge of HCM applications.

10% – Collaborate with the HRIS team on day-to-day use of HCM/ HRIS software and best practices.  Provide support to end users.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED:

Educational/Experience Requirements:  

  • Associates degree in Computer Science, Business, Human Resources or other related field or equivalent experience. 1+ years related experience.  Experience with Workday HCM a plus.

Required Technical Skills/Knowledge:

  • Experience with data, reporting, business process and SaaS environments

General Knowledge and Abilities: 

  • Background in systems, configuration and support. Technical skills with data extraction, analysis and reporting. High proficiency with Excel. Functional knowledge in Human Resources with good written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information. Ability to solve complex problems using a broad perspective to identify solutions.
