We are hiring a Manager, Finance Systems and Processes to join our Finance team!

Are you a system-savvy finance professional interested in a business-critical role at a high-growth company? As a Manager, Finance Systems & Processes, you will be responsible for design requirements, updates, maintenance, and primary administration of our various FP&A systems, including Workday Adaptive, to ensure efficiency in our monthly forecasting and budgeting processes. We are seeking a continuous improvement-minded individual who uses systems to streamline processes and generate business insights.

YOUR RIPPLE EFFECT

  • Can you serve as a system owner? In this key role you will manage our Workday Adaptive system implementation &  maintenance while ensuring the systems best support Watkins’ processes and providing guidance and training to system users. You will be responsible for related routine and ad hoc financial analysis requests as well as delivering business dashboards and providing report creation and analysis.
  • Are you an effective liaison to the business? Different departments and leaders will look to you to answer questions related to financial systems. Strong intuition for business is critical, in addition to very strong organizational, written and verbal communication, presentation, and systems skills. You will provide general financial and high-level business support to various levels of management across all functional departments, including finance, accounting, brand management, executive, and others. We’ll rely on you to seek feedback on how you can better serve the needs of the business.
  • Do you have a continuous improvement approach? You will have complete ownership of Workday Adaptive workforce planning, SAP BPC & Workday Adaptive cost center expense forecasting, and process flow improvement and collaboration. You will drive continuous improvement in each of these areas of responsibility while collaborating with others to support business goals, at times without significant oversight from management.
  • Can you provide ERP implementation support? We’ll look to you for guidance on COA segments and mapping to align with Workday Adaptive, integration of Oracle/ERP demand planning into Workday Adaptive’s new sales model, and other general ERP implementation support.
  • Are you a reporting specialist? You will create and maintain reports in Excel, Workday Adaptive, SAP BPC, SmartView/Hyperion, Jet Reports, Navision/new ERP, and other systems, ranging from simple to complex.
  • Can you lead projects? You will have project-like ownership of portions of the budget and forecast process and will be tasked with driving assigned areas to completion, primarily in the systems realm. You will be tasked with working with internal customers as well as external consultants to drive your assigned projects to their successful completion.

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; CPA and/or Graduate degree preferred, plus a minimum of 7 years as a senior-level analyst. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills required. Must be able to prepare reports, worksheets, charts, schedules, procedures, and other data as necessary. Must be able to review Excel files, understand how they were built, and make changes as business needs change, without jeopardizing file integrity/accuracy.
  • Experience with Workday Adaptive, Hyperion, Oracle and/or other Enterprise Performance Management Tool products a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to see issues, identify improvements, and complete with minimal supervision. Must be able to work efficiently independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to effectively present information to a group of coworkers, supervisors, managers, or higher-level executives.

Hiring Range: $79,500-125.000
