Are you our next Sr. Benefits Analyst?

The Sr. Benefits Analyst will be responsible for the ongoing management and administration of all retirement plans, including funding, data integrity analysis and employee inquiry resolutions. This role coordinates all annual compliance activities, such as the 11-K filing, 5500 submissions and non-discrimination testing, and coordinates with leadership to develop communications, support governance and manage vendor performance.

What will you do?

  • Manage Mosaic's U.S. Defined Contribution (DC) Retirement Plans with over $900 million in assets, and the U.S. Defined Benefit (DB) Pension Plans with over $ 350 million in assets.

  • Perform ongoing administration, data audits, review, and analysis of both 401(k) and non-qualified retirement plans to ensure regulatory compliance. Complete plan funding based on payroll calendar.

  • Consistently review Workday data to ensure file accuracy. Resolve inquiries from both employees and Fidelity and collaborate with payroll and legal as needed.

  • Responsible for all compliance requirements for Mosaic plans including working with internal and external legal counsel to prepare plan amendments, managing the annual audits, preparing plan financials, submitting Form 5500s and 11-Ks, Non-Discrimination Testing, and annual defined benefit valuations.

  • Partner with the COE and 401(k) recordkeeper (Fidelity) to develop annual communications strategy. Develop communications for Mosaic Intranet, HR Portal and New Hire Onboarding.

  • Collaborate with the COE on potential design changes and presentations to leadership.

  • Continually monitor and review performance of retirement vendors and Provide feedback on performance, areas for improvement, and required process changes.

What do you need for this role?

  • Bachelors Degree preferred with a major in Human Resources, Finance, and/or Business Administration. 

  • 6+ years of retirement plan administration experience required.

  • Ongoing knowledge and application of Federal, Provincial or State regulations and the ability to apply these regulations to programs to ensure compliance.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and V-Lookups.

  • Excellent computer skills, which includes proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
