What’s the role?

As a Senior LMS Business Analyst, you'll be called upon to think strategically. You'll work across Talent Management and Development and other HR Center of Excellence (COE) teams to understand business and system needs to support initiatives between internal teams and technical resources. With a focus on addressing business processes and the underlying systems that support those processes, you will identify options, work to gain consensus on approach, develop requirements and related business rules, and work closely with HR COE teams, functional learning teams and technology subject matter experts to implement solutions for solving complex business challenges. Confident, persuasive, and persistent, you will negotiate and communicate to ensure expectations are managed and critical objectives are addressed. Upon solution implementation, you will drive organizational change management activities to promote adoption of the change and minimize impact to people and processes.

Leverage your expertise and experience with Workday Learning and other platforms, tools, and applications to ensure a streamlined and seamless experience. Represent and advocate for COE business needs to influence the process flow design and where applicable build automation for process and data efficiency with data visualization, flows and apps.

The ideal candidate will bring familiarity with Workday, HR or Learning experience, process automation, and strong data analysis skills. Their drive towards process governance, execution and technology will provide this individual with the ability to partner with stakeholders and build creative solutions to create and transform our organization’s learning experience.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Business Requirements: Creates and maintains comprehensive business requirements for requested changes, enhancements, or projects; accountable for articulating functional processes from beginning to end.

  • Innovative Solutions: Leads and builds innovative, automated solutions to improve/create efficient processes with Workday data and enterprise tools (PowerBI, Power Automate, SharePoint, etc.) to support COE initiatives.

  • Consultation: Provides guidance and thought leadership to ensure learning tools and functionality align with enterprise strategy, roadmap and integrates with existing platforms and tools.

  • Process Governance: Provides governance, guidance, and support to learning teams on utilization of learning platforms and Workday for their business area.

  • Technology Liaison: Advocates and partners with HR Technology for enhancements and updates in Workday Learning by documenting the current state, opportunities for improvement and future state business processes for end-users.

  • Troubleshooting: Independently troubleshoots end-user challenges with resolution to processes and functionality through effective communication and documentation.

  • User Acceptance Testing: Responsible for thorough testing and analysis of new features and functionality, including release planning, regression testing, user acceptance and launch testing.

  • System Support: Performs administrative changes and account management in learning platforms, tools and applications including Workday Learning and Articulate.

Bring Your Best! What this role needs:

  • Bachelor’s degree in with an emphasis in MIS, Business, Project Management, or related field preferred OR a significant amount of directly related work experience beyond the minimum required for the position.

  • Substantial experience in process mapping, followed by creating automation or solutions from start to finish.

  • Proven Workday functional expertise – an awareness of what Workday can and cannot do, familiarity with delivered functionality and reports, and experience performing administrative tasks in Workday.

  • 6 years of previous experience in HR, L&D or Talent Management and Development, including the ability to clearly articulate the key objectives, responsibilities, goals, and strategies and how they intersect with broader HR strategy.

  • Strong sense of personal accountability for high quality, value-driven work that supports business outcomes and places the user in the center of decision making.

  • Demonstrated flexibility to adjust to changing business needs by effectively managing and prioritizing large or complex concurrent assignments; prioritizes speed, agility, and innovation in work.

  • Embrace continuous learning, curiosity, and ambiguity. Incumbent will fluidly share findings and new insights with peers through coaching and mentoring.

Pay Range – Start:

$75,180.00

Pay Range – End:

$139,620.00
