Position Summary/Objective

The Tax Data Management Supervisor is responsible for the teams who support proactive data cases, tax rate and profile data maintenance and daily tax case management for OSV customers.  These team activities include capturing electronic/published data from Federal, State, Local, and Territorial taxing agencies and facilitating the data input with a high level of accuracy.  The Supervisor will also support ongoing maintenance of post deploy RPA processes.

Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities

  • Lead daily activities of assigned team and function to ensure that all work is completed according to scheduled deadlines with attention to quality standards, priorities and overall goals. Oversee the use of standard process workflows by team.
  • Develop an enhanced understanding of Tax Operations processes & functions and supports with the implementation of strategic goals.
  • Provides subject matter and technical support on department processes, systems, and requirements to team members to support OSV customers.
  • Provide outstanding tax service support by researching and providing supporting detail to OSV customers
  • Skills to meet strict deadlines for monthly, quarterly reports, ad hoc reports, and data inquires to support business needs
  • Provide directions, instructions and/or training to team
  • Assist team as needed with daily task and assist with special team projects
  • Provide professional and timely responses to internal and external customers
  • Meet quality and production metrics outlined for position
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment
  • Establish and maintain relationship with customers and internal teams to ensure delivery of high quality services and products to internal and external customers
  • Work closely with the tax services department and other internal teams to deliver excellent customer service related to the entire payroll tax process
  • Perform analysis of tax/payroll data on the employer and employee level

Qualifications and Experience

  • Tax and/or payroll experience 
  • Payroll outsourcing experience preferred
  • Associates degree or higher (or experience equivalent)
