We are looking for a candidate who will understand ‘as-is’ end-to-end business/process cycles, possess the ability to act effectively at various levels of detail, work constructively with cross-functional teams and senior management, facilitate problem-solving and decision-making and be actively involved in multiple project activities, such as owning project plans and requirements elicitation.
This successful candidate will act as an internal consultant to global HR stakeholders and be a part of a team of Workday specialists that sit in HRIS and closely partner with Information Technology and Human Resource peer groups. The candidate will be expected to closely collaborate with teammates across the globe and ensure we are maximizing our Workday investment.
Position Details
HRIS Project Manager will manage small-to-mid sized HRIS project through project planning, resource coordination, stakeholder management, etc.
Key Responsibilities
1.Project Planning:
Defining project scope, setting milestones, and establishing timelines.
2. Resource Coordination:
Support the coordination of resources across multiple projects to ensure optimal allocation and utilization.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
Work with internal stakeholders and business partners to support project objectives and deliverables.
4.Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
5.Documentation:
Maintain detailed project documentation, including end-to-end solution design details and project progress reports.
6.Issue Resolution:
Assist in the resolution of project-related issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Experience
– 3+ years of experience in HR technology or project management
– Experience in managing small-to-mid sized projects
Skill/Ability
– Language Skills: English Business Level, Japanese Business Level
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in diverse, fast paced environment
– Solid communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey complex ideas and facilitate collaboration across teams
Desired Qualifications:
Experience
– Experience working in a global environment
Qualification
– Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
– Workday certification or relevant HRIS certification
